Post Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education - On Teach Out Starting Summer 2026
As of the Summer 2026 semester, the Post Master's Certificate in Nursing Education is no longer accepting new students. Current students have been placed on a structured teach-out plan until they have finished their degree requirements at Mercy College.
Mercy College of Ohio offers a Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education, consisting of four specialty courses in nursing education (12 credit hours) that will prepare master’s educated nurses to teach in higher education, or in a healthcare organization. Coursework focuses on the National League for Nursing (NLN) Core Competencies of Nurse Educators.
