NUR 237 Nursing Concepts for Adult Health II
This course builds on previous learned skills and concepts and introduces patient centered holistic care to patients experiencing chronic health alterations. Emphasis will be placed on applying clinical judgment to the care of patients experiencing alterations of health. Concepts and exemplars in the course include cellular regulation, infection, gas exchange/oxygenation, glucose regulation, perfusion, intracranial regulation, infection and mobility. Clinical practice experiences provide opportunities to integrate the concepts presented throughout the course in the clinical setting.
