NUR 326 Clinical Nursing Concepts II
This is the second course in a four-part series focusing on the development of clinical nursing concepts. Emphasis is placed on providing patient-centered care across the lifespan that includes maternal, pediatric and adult populations. Students will integrate specialized nursing skills, nutrition knowledge, and evidence-based strategies to promote safety, wellness, and disease prevention. Key concepts include holistic care, oxygenation, perfusion, reproduction, and sexuality. Clinical practice experiences provide opportunities to apply informatics, healthcare technologies, and communication techniques to support individuals and families in diverse healthcare settings.
